Seven signals, one hundred points
Every doctor who can serve your concern is scored on the same seven signals. Nothing is hidden — these are the exact ceilings the matcher uses.
- Specialty matchWe read your description and symptoms to work out which kind of specialist you need.
- How near they areA doctor in your city scores full marks; beyond that we measure the real distance.
- Patient ratingsRatings only count once enough patients have left one, so newer doctors are not punished.
- ExperienceYears in practice, counted up to twenty-five.
- AvailabilityDoctors sitting today are favoured much more strongly when your concern is urgent.
- Taking new patientsDoctors who have paused new patients drop down the list.
- Consultation feeA gentle nudge towards affordable care, and a hard limit if you set a maximum.

Questions people ask before they start
Do I have to know which specialist I need?
No — that is the whole point. Describe the problem in ordinary words and the matcher works out the specialty. When it is not confident it asks you to confirm rather than guessing silently.
Can I choose the doctor myself?
Always. We show the ranked shortlist with the reason behind each match, and you can accept the top suggestion or pick anyone else on it. You can also browse the full directory and book directly.
How quickly will a doctor see my case?

What happens if the doctor cannot take it?
They decline with a reason and your case is automatically re-routed to the next best-matched doctor. You never have to start again, and the reason is on your case timeline.
Does distance really change who I get?
Yes. An exact city match earns full marks, and beyond that we fall back to real distance. For an online consult distance matters far less, and the ranking reflects that.
