Four things we refuse to compromise on
Every doctor is checked before they appear
A doctor cannot list themselves. Our team reads the council registration number on the application and approves it before the profile is visible to anyone. An unverified doctor is never shown and never routed a case.
We route, we never advise
Varsha does not diagnose, does not suggest treatment and does not interpret results. It reads your words to decide which kind of doctor should see them. Every clinical judgement on this platform is made by a registered doctor.
The match is explained, not asserted
Every shortlist comes with the reasons behind it and a score out of a hundred. The signals and their weights are published on the How it works page. If we cannot explain why a doctor was suggested, we should not be suggesting them.
Your record stays yours
Notes, prescriptions and history live in your account, readable by you and the doctor treating you. Message bodies and clinical notes are not visible to our operations team — only the metadata needed to keep a case moving.
How verification actually works
- The doctor applies. With their council registration number, qualifications, specialty, city and the fees and hours they intend to keep.
- Our team checks the registration. The number is read against the application. A mismatch, or anything unclear, is rejected with a written reason the doctor can act on.
- The profile goes live. Only then does the doctor appear in the directory and start being routed cases. The approval is stamped and kept in the audit log.
- It can be withdrawn. A profile can be suspended at any point, with a reason recorded and sent to the doctor. Suspension takes them out of the directory and out of routing immediately.
Varsha is not an emergency service and gives no medical advice of its own. Anything clinical you read here came from a registered doctor.
